I've been using these LD Comfort shorts on my longer rides. I find when I'm not wearing these that I get a much sorer ass. Great product.

I'm registered for the ride. Ride plan done. Now it's time to dust off the camping gear.
Looks like I'll be camping Friday night in a small town called Wandoan.
Look forward to meeting you both Harry and Nev.

Introduce yourself and your ride / Re: Introduction..

G day Kimmie , it's been a while now , as you have figured this in most has been a bit of a right off  as far as any touring is concerned .. except for Apr and May..
As for life overall ....  I consider myself incredibly lucky and fortunate. Above know it . Hoping to get a few trips in with the remaining bit of the year . Glad it was suggested I look for Southern Cross by a member of Aust Long Distance ...
Now here , have a new incentive, feel that will go a long way to return to the time / distance rides , and seeing follow riders whom understand .. be it often only for 30 mins  - a couple of hours . Lakes Entrance I'm seriously starting to think about as a kick starter.
Cheers .
And thankyou for warm welcome

Introduce yourself and your ride / G’day fro QLD

Howdy everyone.
Some may remember me from my time at FaraRiders from W.A.
We've moved from WA in 2017 and now live in QLD. Since arriving life has been busy and hence my riding has suffered. It has only been recently that I have started getting back into riding and of course it's always a ride to a coffee shop... that is hundreds of km away and nobody wants to ride that far with me so it's always solo, which suits me.
I've always enjoyed the planning process of doing long distance rides and then executing them followed by the analysis to compare the data to the actual.
I still ride my 2013 K1600GTL. It's been a great ride and has served me well over the years.
Looking forward to catching up.
